Terms of Use

01The service

Tercümen is a mobile app provided by KODDÜNYASI. It reads English subtitles shown on a screen and instantly translates them into Turkish and reads them aloud. Tercümen is an assistive tool. It is not an official product of the games it works with or of the companies that publish them, and it is not affiliated with them.

02Account

• You need to sign in with a Google or Apple account to use the app. You do not create a separate password.
• You are responsible for the security of the Google or Apple account you sign in with.
• You can delete your account at any time. See Account deletion.

03Subscription, cancellation and refunds

• Tercümen’s translation, voice-over and usage modes are available through a monthly or yearly subscription. The current price is shown in the app and in the store before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can cancel at any time in your store account’s subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then.
• Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.
• No free trial is offered.
• Because payments are collected by Apple and Google, refund requests are subject to their refund processes. See Support for steps.
• You will be notified of price changes in advance in line with store rules. Where your consent is required, a price increase will not apply without it.

04Acceptable use

When using Tercümen you agree not to:

• Knowingly submit false, meaningless, offensive or misleading content to the shared translation pool
• Overload the service with automated tools or attempt unauthorised access to our servers
• Decompile or reverse engineer the app, or try to bypass subscription checks (except where the law expressly allows it)
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

05Community contributions

Translation corrections and votes you submit through the app go into the shared translation pool. You agree that these contributions may be made available to all Tercümen users without being linked to your identity, edited, and used to improve the service.

06Intellectual property

• The app, its interface, name and logo belong to KODDÜNYASI.
• Games, in-game text, characters and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Game titles are used only to indicate compatibility.
• If you hold rights to a work and want its content removed, use the copyright notice form.

07Warranty and liability

• Translations are generated automatically and corrected by the community. We do not guarantee that translations are always accurate or complete.
• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Changes to games, consoles or third-party services may affect some features.
• To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service. This does not affect consumer rights that cannot be excluded by contract.

08Changes to the service and these terms

We may change, improve or discontinue features of the service. If the service is discontinued entirely, users with an active subscription will be notified in advance. When we update these terms, we change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms.

09Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Türkiye have jurisdiction over disputes. As a consumer, your right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 is reserved.

11Apple Standard EULA

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies in addition to these terms. In case of conflict, the Standard EULA prevails with respect to rights against Apple.
